For the first time, astronomers have seen (in ice-form) life’s basic building blocks (according to modern science) beyond the borders of our galaxy.
These basic components (Complex organic Molecules) are molecules with at least six atoms, at least one is carbon. They are precursors to the molecules that build life.
One important conclusion is that these precursors were forged before Earth was even born.
