The discovery of two skulls in 1989 and 1990 gave birth to a new specie in the hominid family tree, called the Yunxian Man. Modern technology, using 3-D scanning and analysis has allowed a reconstruction of the skulls and a classification of this new family between Homo erectus and the following species, Homo longi and Homo sapiens. This discovery more or less doubles the time of origin of Homo sapiens.
Reconciliation between modern anthropology and the Wisdom Tradition Teachings is still far away and would require deep comparative studies in History, Archeology, Anthropology, etc…
