Visible Matter is not in Bright Stars

What we call matter in the visible universe is not where we would think it is.
Apart from Dark Matter which is not visible but detectable due to its impact on celestial orbits dynamics, most of the visible matter is not in the bright stars. Instead, it is located in gigantic clouds of gaz surrounding most of the galaxies. They account for 70%-90% for the visible matter. This is the cradle of stars and planets, the “raw” material from which they are created, shaped by gravitational accretion. These halos are stretching hundreds of thousands of light years. A scientific team was able to take a picture of it. It is glowing, but we don’t know why. And an interesting fact was noticed : the galaxy does not smoothly “fade out” into the surrounding halo. There is an abrupt break from one to the other.

H.P. Blavatsky Collected Writings – Vol. V, p. 150, has an answer to the question : “Do the Adepts deny the Nebular Theory?”, and Vol. XIV, p. 87 says : “The nebular theory of Modern Science, with all its mysteries, is solved in the cosmogony of the Archaic Doctrine, and the paradoxical though very scientific enunciation, that ‘cooling causes contraction and contraction causes heat; therefore cooling causes heat,’ is shown as the chief agency in the formation of the worlds, ans especially of our sun and solar system.”

H.P. Blavatsky Secret Doctrine – B. de Zirkoff Edition, Vol. I, p. 588, gives some clues about the nebular theory : “The nebulae exists; yet the nebular theory is wrong. A nebula exists in a state of entire elemental dissociation. It is gaseous and – something else besides, which can hardly be connected with gazes, as known to physical science; and it is self-luminous.”
