It is the best medecine which we can use. The various biological systems ensure most of the required conditons to sustain life, and when any discrepancy occurs, an army of cells is dispatched to stop proliferation and to repair any damage. A new study has discovered that this process of self-healing can occur in some metal, the nanoscale silver (Ag). This element, when subject to damages like nanocracks and nanopores, can repair itself without external intervention, the healed region restoring the crystal lattice with atomic precise ordering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
