A 2021 research on anomalous sensory experiences \u2013 clairaudience (auditory hallucinations), using mediums and members of religious communities, concluded that absorption (a trait linked to one\u2019s tendency to become immersed in experience or thought) is a strongly correlated factor in Spiritualists reporting clairaudience.
